First Time Student (Under 25)

 Steps to Apply

1- Choose Your Academic Program

Select the academic program that matches your educational and career goals. Review the list of programs available at NYUS and identify the best fit.

2- Review Admission Requirements

Check the admission requirements, including GPA, test scores, and supporting documents, to ensure eligibility before applying.

3-Submit Your Application

Complete the online application and pay the non-refundable application fee. Submit your official high school and/or college transcripts for evaluation.

4- Schedule a campus visit

Book a guided campus tour to explore classrooms, facilities, and residence halls. Meet with an Admissions Counselor to discuss your program, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities.

5- Apply for Scholarships & Financial Aid

Once your admission application is submitted, review scholarship and financial aid options. FAFSA and other applications can be submitted once your admission file is complete.

6- Complete Housing Application

Submit your housing application by the deadline (March for fall entry). All new students are required to live on campus unless an approved exemption is granted.

7- Attend New Student Orientation

Participate in the mandatory orientation program for new students held in June and August. Orientation includes registration for classes, campus resources, and student life activities.
