Explanation of Fees and Payment Instructions

    • Tuition, Differential Tuition, Out-of-State Fee : Used to provide educational instruction and support services.
    • Athletic Fee : Used to fund NYUS intercollegiate athletics.
    • Activity and Service Fee : Used to fund activities and services that benefit the general student body.
    • Building and Capital Improvement Fee : Used for building construction and repair.
    • Distance Learning Fee : Used to develop and deliver distance learning courses.
    • Financial Aid Fee : Used to provide financial aid and support services.
    • Health Fee : Used to fund student health services.
    • Notes:

    1-You can make tuition fee payments with your credit or debit card from anywhere with internet access via our online payment facility

    2-We accept most major credit and debit cards other than American Express and Diners Club.

    3-Remember, as an international student, you will also need to pay a deposit of $5,000 of your tuition This will allow you to receive the Certificate of Attendance of Studies (CAS) letter.

    4- Kindly allow 2 to 3 business days for the funds to be received and accurately reflected on your dashboard.

    5-To ensure successful processing of your payment, please remit the amount in USD (United States Dollar). Payments made in any other currency will be returned to the sender.

    6-To mitigate the risk of breaching sanctions, The University is currently unable to accept payment originating from the following countries:

    • Belarus – Cuba – Iran  – North Korea – Russia  – South Sudan – Syria.

    • Technology Fee : Used to enhance instructional technology resources.
    • Transportation Access Fee : Used to fund the shuttle system and transportation infrastructure.
    • Equipment Fee : Used for the maintenance, repair and replacement of equipment.
    • ID Service and Access Fee : Used to fund student ID card services.
    • Material and Supply Fee : Used to purchase materials or supplies consumed in class.
    • International Student Fee : Used for costs associated with reporting requirements
    • Online Course Proctoring Fee : Used in specific courses to cover proctor fees. Fee is paid to a third party and not NYUS.
    •  How to Complete Your Bank Transfer

      Use the payment instructions provided to make the transfer using any of the following methods:

      Online Banking / Mobile Banking

      If you have online banking or a mobile app from your bank, you can easily log in to your account and make the transfer yourself.

      In-Person Visit to Bank Branch

      By paying a personal visit to your local bank branch, you can provide your bank with the required account details found in your payment instructions in order to make the transfer.

      Telephone Transfer

      You may also call your bank and authorize them to initiate the transaction on your behalf.

    ⚠ Important Notes

    1-While Confirmation of Payee is unavailable, please rest assured that if you transfer the funds using the account details provided in the instructions, your funds will reach us in 2–3 business days. Please feel free to reach out to our Support team for additional questions.

    2-To ensure that your payment is credited in full to NYUS, all transfer fees must be covered by the payer. For SWIFT wire transfers, please select “OUR” for the details of charges.

    3-For transfers done through Faster Payments, please include the remitter’s first and last name and the Payment ID in the notes/remarks/remittance details of the transfer.
